I'm not sure unsa ka daghan fans diri sa Blazers, but I was wondering what are your opinions about Jerryd Bayless? Can he be the next PG? Is he even a PG? A combo guard perhaps? or an SG trap in PG's body?

But you gotta love his attitude when he plays. His fun to watch, love the swagger.

I think sa playoffs against sa Suns the potential was there. But I still see him as a shoot first point guard. HopefullY ma improve iya outside shot. But definitely there was a big improvement from his rookie season. I think it has something to do with Nate's system, it doesn't fit with his style of play. Also,Blazers have a lot guards right now, from last year and their draft picks so it shows that they're not sold on Bayless as the next starting pg. Probably he will be traded this season just like Steve Blake last year.

I'm not a Blazers fan also, but he's not a legit PG. He's more of a shooting guard - an undersized one. He's soft, ballhog, and a flopper, so he should consider playing with the Lakers when he become a free agent. On that team, he can improve his low-bball IQ. Oh wait, either Kobe or Phil will be gone by the time he'll move to the Lakers. Oh, man...

Anyways...

You should know by now that the success rate of undersized guards (SG postion in that matter) are extremely low. Arenas (originally an SG - an undersized also) in contrary, has PG skills and he can distribute more than 10 assists if he wanted to but he'll love scoring anyways. Same as Allen Iverson (in his prime). But Bayless doesn't have PG skills. Brandon Roy always playing the PG position when Bayless is on the court.

At last they have a new GM. I really have no idea why they fired KP. I thought he did an excellent job have as their GM. I was surprised when he was fired; I was expecting Coach Nate to be fired and not him. Anyway, its time to trade Rudy Fernandez i guess. His value is really low now but hey his contract is cheap.

Funny story... true or not... Jerryd Bayless and Brandon Roy love these two, especially Bayless. He was actually my favorite player going into the '08 draft, Rose was second. Of course got Rose sa Top with Wall. Bayless got to move 2nd..

Goodluck kay Bayless, he'll be good this season with more playing time, he was superb last playoff against his hometown Phoenix. He was good enough to replace Fernandez on the starting position after Roy got injured. No wonder Fernandez got hurt..
