Kahit si Locsin na tagapagtanggol dati ng automated elections eh nagbago ng isip pagkatapos niyang magconduct ng congressional investigation. then consider these grounds for protest:

* The high incidence of null votes in the certificates of canvass, totaling to 2,612,207 votes;

* The lowering of the canvassing threshold in at least 145 clustered precincts nationwide (92,740 votes);

* The erroneous uploading of the FTS results from clustered precincts to affected city/municipal/provincial consolidation and canvassing systems, Comelec central and backup servers and the KBP server (169,849 votes); and,

* Fraud, anomalies and statistical improbabilities in certain clustered precincts, particularly in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm), which were too glaring to ignore. In the Armm, 578 PCOS machines reported an average voter turnout of 97.85 percent; in Kalinga, 33 PCOS machines reported a province-wide turnout of 98.47 percent; and in the Cordillera Autonomous Region, 44 PCOS machines had a region-wide turnout of 98.54 percent.

determining the will of the electorate thus renders imperative a forensic analysis of the hardware and software components of the Automated Election System (AES), including the source code, PCOS machine, compact flash (CF) cards and transmission data and protocols, as well as a proper manual audit as required by law.

so we can say there was indeed a failure of election... unfair naman kung kay roxas lang na nullv votes ang count.. paanoy ung kay erap? o kay kay binay mismo or what about at the local level or like for example davide how about athan guardo?

they should file a protest if they want the votes related to the position where they were candidates to be recounted. obviously, mar's protest would recount only those votes for the VP position as recount is too costly.

in any case, any adjudication by PET as to the null votes would set a precedent relating to how PCOS machines should appreciate overshaded or undershaded circles which cannot be read by the machines but where the intent of the voter can be discerned when counted manually

corruption in this country is unparallel. acquiring that automated election should have at least fix the flaws of the usual manual election. we settle for an automated election because we believe and almost all countries around the world believe that its the only way to minimize cheating during elections but still these people are trying to the unthinkable by manipulating the said system by manipulating the people on top. haayzzzzz

so are you saying that only null votes for mar roxas will be counted? what about null votes for binay will they be also counted?

Next time, they should teach their supporters how to shade the ballots!!! Kung sa test pa ni sa school. Wrong Spelling... WRONG!!!
