Psychology graduates offering free counseling.
That's more like it. Kudos to you guys!
But you might want to put your experiences/background in counseling. Credibility is very important here since you're dealing with people. Just my two cents.

wait what's the difference between counselling and giving advice?
ex. a boy was kicked out in school due to his behavior.
hmmmmm thanks sa offer alexxx ill keep it in mind
advice-giving is more like telling the person what to do. Counseling is more like helping the person to make a decision based on the options/choices that he has.
When you give advice and its successful, the person might become dependent. If the advice flops, you get the blame for a silly advice.
On the other hand, counseling emphasizes responsibility on the part of the person being counseled, more like empowering the person to face his issues and decide on his own and own up to the consequences.
actually in extreme cases, advice may not be out of place especially when there is eminent danger to life or limb of person being counseled or when he has verbalized/indicated he's going to hurt somebody.
For example, you wont just say, "Ok I respect your choice" when your counselee says mag suicide siya..lol
yeah like i guess it will depend on case to case basis.
especially when regarding suicide na ang problema sa tawo
or maybe murder.
how about if you try to face a drug addict? para mahunong siya? when you talk to that person and try to stop him from taking drugs, are you advising or counselling?
Addiction is a complex problem that may require help beyond just counseling. Daghan models pod ana, 12 steps, Gestalt, etc. Naay uban that look at it as a disease concept, others dili sad disease ang concept. Usually kung addict, sulod gyud na sa rehab for a program
what if the person resists on going into rehab, how are you going to deal with the person?
like one time i have a friend who's got a drug addict brother. of course sending the person into rehab is a good move, makatabang sa ila but in the drug addicts' end, it's like he's being sent to the jail ang feeling. so he ended up hating his sister.
