Kei,
In Japan, they have this saying:
In Rome, do as the Romans.
This would literally mean that where ever we are, we have to PUT RESPECT AT ALL TIMES - the people, the culture, etc. and INSTILL in our minds that we are living in a foreign country and not in our native land. Being judged as "HAMBUGERO" by the locals is really TRUE (as it is the people's opinion) and might sometimes lead us to danger if we continue to be "HAMBUGERO" even if we are not in our own country. Right?
My friend, this is the PHILIPPINES - not KOREA...just like Korea, we also have lots of beautiful destinations - parks, malls, restaurants, nice food, etc. and Filipino locals are naturally-born HOSPITABLE, RESPECTFUL and FRIENDLY to our visitors.
In the Philippines, do as the Filipinos and you will REALLY enjoy your STAY...however, don't be "HAMBUGERO" because even locals kill each other because of being "HAMBUGERO", how much more to non-natives?
Just ENJOY your stay here and BE RESPECTFUL!
and Be kind to US as we will to YOU!
oh dooont woooory chubachuchu
Good People, Bad People...
They exist everywhere...
No need to apologize...
