Avanza or Vios, please help!

How about katong gisulti nako nga "shake" sa Avanza, kinsa naay comments ana? I plan to test drive both anyway, pero i'd like to know lang, basin naa sad mo inputs ba.

yah..medyo mahal compared sa toyota..and maayo sad ug service ang toyota and parts barato sad..bcin ganahan siya ug city test drive lang ug suway...but anyway go back on the cars that he is confuse on what he will buy...go for vios...

Thanks for all the help guys, I think i've come to a decision, i'll get the Vios instead. The price diff between the 2 is 72k but the Avanza's only advantage is space. Considering we are only 3 in the family including myself, space isn't much of an issue. And for 72k more, the Vios 1.3E offers features the Avanza 1.3J doesn't.. things like: power window, power door lock, TVSS, keyless entry, 2-DIN Integrated Type w/ CD/MP3, Rear Window Defogger, Alloy Wheels, and most importantly, ABS (EBD + Brake Assist).

Good decision bro, but with your 72T savings, you can upgrade the mag wheels to 17". I have a vios 1.3E and akong problem before kay pirmi ko masangyad sa mga alanganin nga parking area like kanang sa chinabank sa guadalupe ining padung gawas facing jollibee, masangyad jud anf front bumper bisan ako rang usa sakay. Kana pud exit sa parkmall kanag dapit sa sungold... But when I changed to 17" okay na kaayo, wala na jud masangyad.

Go for vios boss, 4 ra man kaha ang the most musakay. Let's say pareha ra ug engine ang duha, next nimo i-consider ang fuel consumption. Mas gaan baya ug body ang vios kaysa avanza, so mas fuel efficient siya. Sa looks pud, mas nindot ang vios. Naka ask ko sa una sa ako amigo na taga Toyota kung asa mas maayo sa duha, he told me mas maayo jud ang vios, only advantage sa Avanza kay dako iya space.

neither. a vios is still a vios. likewise an avanza is still an avanza. you'd still end up at the lower car-food chain. if I had that cash, i'd rather buy a decent second hand car with low mileage that has more class. but thats just me.
