ill add my 2 cents
nag sturya mi ako papa and sa manila daw is 800 pr hr ang rehearsals sa uban studio jamming lang na with drum, basic p.a system, ug mga 30watt na amps..way labot guitars
sa dgte ang rate is 100-300pr hr.
kami before ako g cut ang jamming kai grabe ug wear and tear sa equipment namu usually sa drums, before it was ok kai 3 man ka drum kit sa ako papa and when g donate nya ang Tama rockstar kit nya sa church..ang pearl export series nalang and ang setup ato was 6 pc kit with additional popsnare ug mga percussion + 9 cymbals..after nag continue ghapun we basically lost 4 of the cymbals and nag ilis2x mi ug heads 2x a year back then mahal kau ang remo na heads, daun lazer drum heads sa una dli jud reliable..and add pa mga kawat2x sa cymbal locks ug mawala pa felt pads..we had to provide sticks too kai naa man mga feeling rockstar2x dli mag dala..naapud uban na gikan ug ibabaw lipak gamitun..
pero karun daghan na affordable na drum kit, ug cymbals ug accessories so much better na jud. for practice cymbals like Wuhan, Planet Z zildkian na cymbals barato ra, and kits like DDRUM(some have basswood or birtch shells) entry level at a cheaper price..
at amps mas preferred solid state and sa bass mas preferred jud solidstate, brand wise daghan na mapilian..
ako lang is i like na if naa mag practice ma enjoy sila para mu balik2x jud, some disagree and tend to go na pratice is practice lang..and mas maninuod sila if dli kau nindot ang equipment? i think its nice na mas nindot equipment mas mu dugay sila ug pratice kai malingaw man ila ears, and musicians who feel the same appreciate that more than the cost sa practice..its good to have extra guitars na well setup'd and maintained, its up to you if paabang(most likely) or not
