Looking for scholars: 4-month Buddhist temple stay/study program - W/Allowance

imagine it this way:

Thursdays through Saturdays you have classes on meditation, Mandarin, Buddhism, and sessions on chanting, gardening, chores, etc. Sundays you join an outreach and enjoy time together sharing talents and knowledge. Mondays are days off and you are allowed to go out (for an hour). but for some reason you don't binge on meat (since the temple meals are vegetarian) and you're just happy to have ice cream and chocolates So you spend your allowance on toiletries and detergent since you wash your own clothes everyday

And you can actually use your camera, cellphone, and laptop.

@justin08 ya naa na siya diha sa cebu. he has his reasons of not pushing through with the program. we also have other classmates who did the same. as for those who have remained, 1 and a half months (remaining) is a very short time. dali ra kaayu ang panahon. i came here summer time and now it's the rainy season so i really felt the passage of time...char kaayu ko...i'm feeling nostalgic because of all the rain. unsaon nalang kahag nag snow wahahah

hello, everyone! we are nearing the end of our program. time surely flies fast, doesn't it! we are now in manila for our last month of stay and study. some of us will go to taiwan this august to visit Go Guan Shan, the monastery and headquarters of this buddhist order.
