Peace Talk po para wala na pong gulo. Dito sa Danao City maraming NPA sa bukid kasi binubuhay po sila ng mga Durano dito kaya sana may peace talks.

Lagi kagamay ra na nila compare sa sundalo sa gobyerno. The sad part of that, kay korakot man ang uban nga generals. There was even news sa GMA7 nga ibaligya man ang mga armas sa NPA ang armas sa government soldiers. Tsk tsk tsk

Neither one would do. Peace talks, till when? Kung total annihilation, maypa tanan nalang so we can really start anew. Mao ra man gihapon, we're all part of the same basket with rotten eggs and sooner or later, kita tanan mabulok.

OT: come to think of it, nagsugod ra ang leftist wings in the late 60s, when corruption was making its baby steps. since wa may mo-support because di man ni 'popular' nga cause, it stayed in the background while corruption continued to grow stronger and healthier through the years. and to prove its strength, asta leftist wing, na-infiltrate ug corruption. mura ni sya kato last paragraph sa animal farm when the pigs had dinner with the humans and ang other animals sa gawas naglibog kung asa ang mga baboy ug asa ang tawo coz later on, murag parehas na silag nawong. kapait.

I honestly dont understand Sen. Madrigal. She claims that she represents the senate when she went to Oslo (i think) but when Drilon was asked, he denied any knowledge into it. i smell something fish yman jud... that the political opposition is trying (again) to form a tactical alliance with the Reds... hahay... way undang gubot diri Pinas...

The government is just asking for genuine peace talks. If only the NDF will be sincere when they return to the negotiating table, I don't think the government will refuse them. The government wouldn't want to wage an all-out war if they have felt that the other party is sincere as they discuss a peaceful agreement to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, while NDF is pursuing peace talks, their military arm, NPA for that matter, is also pursuing war against our soldiers in the countryside.

How can the government just tolerate that?

I dont think really that they are sincere making nice agreement with the gov't, bkit ngayun lang sila nagaganyan? kung talagang gusto nilang tigil putukan at atahimikan sa lugar nila, dapat matagal na silang sumapi sa gobyerno...The government had enough of them, kaya nga maganda itong all out war na ito...o db, natakot din sila.

Here is another news, the gov't had asked the International Ceasefire Monitoring team (Malaysia-led International Monitoring Committee) in Mondanao to serve the arrest warrants on two commanders of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front who are believed to be behind the June 23 roadside bombing in Cotabato City that killed several relatives of Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan. Reports said that they are doing this strategy to avoid any untoward incident that may occur to interrupt the peace negotiations between the government and the MILF to resolve the fighting in Maguindanao.

Buti nalang talaga magaling mag isip ng mga solusyon ang gobyerno natin....

The trip was apparently not even part of the official destination of of Sen. Madrigal. Nor is she the official authorized by the Government of the Philippines to conduct peace talks with communist rebels.

It can only be inferred that her meeting with Joma Sison was vested with personal interests. It is not also likely that it was an impromptu meeting. It could only have been brought about by prior correspondence.
