I log-in to istorya usually to look for electronic stuff. In fact, I've had good buys here, thanks to the webmasters or administrators of this site.
I have been a member for more than a year but still on "Newbie" status (*pouts*). With the new rule of Newbies not being able to post on the only section I mostly care about on this site, I've got to say I'm a bit disappointed.
However, I completely understand your cause. If I may suggest, why not completely bar those erring members from posting on first offense with a sentence of six months no-post-no-reply-no PM access and barring them for eternity the second time. That'll teach them a lesson not to mess with you guys or anybody else. It gives them a message that the buy/sell section is serious stuff.
Although, I can't recall selling something here but should the time come it'd suck not being able to post. The rule is somewhat biased to rule abiding poor unfortunate newbie istoryans like me, ain't it?
Just a thought.
I still think this site rocks though.
Peace.
dali raman gud i himo ug lain account, protection raman ni cya para sa sellers and buyers.
yes naay mga honest newbies but daghan na incidents of scams and bad deals mostly done by newbies.
Just work your way para masaka imo status
its ok man sad
reasonable
kay para ma prevent ang bogus items
im not complaining
i just want a site to express my views
kana pwede ta ka ISTORYA ba

it's so UNFAIR .......... but if it's d rules then wala ma himo ang mga newbie (just like me)
basta ako TINARONG jud ni ako diri sa Istorya.
hi am a newbie..m just wondering, how will i make the required 30-50 posts if i'm even restricted to start posting? i've always been a lurker in the buy/sell thread and in as much as i would like to participate, i could not. I've also read the rules and regulations under newS&announcements and yet, i'm quite disappointed.
Just a 5-cents thought: why not bar these erring members or probably give them sanctions if they dont really abide the rules and regulations set instead of barring all the newbies from buy/sell thread. I mean, there are newbies who are honest and probably abides by the rules set...well, this is just a suggestion and its up to you guys to decide.
sorry for these sentiments, but i'm just quite confused, though i completely understand all your precautions with regards to these scams and bogus individuals/items...i just thought that this is the only thread that i can express how I feel.
i hope u understand
enitx, we understand every user's situation. However, we feel that it is best for the community as a whole to implement measures that will help safeguard the integrity of the site. Posting topics under Buy / Sell won't help you reach 30 posts as posts there don't tally. You can post new topics anywhere but there. In essence, you must "earn" your "topic posting" rights at the said forums by participating in others. If you do not wish to do so you can also avail of our paid membership options. Read https://www.istorya.net/forums/index.php?topic=90270 for details.

istorya is not mainly a the buy/sell forum, its more than than.. even more than just talk (sa ilang tagline), bitaw try working ur way up to junior member by participating in other boards.. daghan bya sad interesting.
lahat naman kami dumadaan sa pagka newbie, meron lang talaga iba na umaabuso and even if the admin will ban that member no one can stop that person to register again and make another account.
ako din naman na biktima din ng newbie thread crapping
dont worry at least sir beor lowered down the required no. of posts to become a junior member
I guess this is for the benefit of all
