to nashsatriani: ur saying that u r passive? aren't you the most aggressive here? as i've read through this thread, ive noticed that u r the one who is very vocal about ur hatred against cebuanos who are reggae fanatic (which i am). u even invented the genius/***** meter, pro/anti stats against a fellow istoryan. and to be more proud, u even named some music celebrities that u know in the scene, for what reason? to only boast that u know them?. (acting like a roadie?)

try to read all your replies before u judge.

i thought we are all musicians here. but with your actions, this only shows that you are just a mere critic.

let me define "who r critics" in my own opinion: these are the unsuccesful talents of a certain field. the best thing that they can do because they can't do what others can, is to judge and criticize succesful talents and be friend those who are famous, so they might as well be tagged as someone special to the scene. i think this is what we see in this thread.

i personally don't know Bryan pero he's been helpful with all the inquiries and questions from other players and learned a lot from him...

he knows his stuff well (saw his demos on youtube)

there's no question that this guy is a genius with guitars. but he already admitted that he comitted a mistake when he thread crapped mrniceprice. (see page 5 or 6).

So for all of you guys who want to continue posting a comment about the pros & cons of bryanarzaga, please stop it. Coz this thread is supposed to be all about John Hu.

with smooth friction they played in dgte many times na naka open mi for them and urbandub,also bamboo sa una, cge man gud laag smooth friction sa Rockboo sa una it was fun and always fun with smooth friction

for the whole john hu guitar thing... im pretty sure he's not the only one doing fake copies...

most companies nowadays have their cheaper models manufactured in China (especially Qingdao) but in order for the factories to make more profits, they illegally produce more guitars and parts (some branded with logos, some blank and called as OEMs) without the consent of the respective guitar companies

these guitars are then sold backdoor either to small time music shops, luthiers (might be john hu) retailers in china...

so what you get is basically a clone of the licensed item such as epiphones, squiers and ibanez
some might have all the original parts if youre lucky, some have the same serial numbers, packaging, tags

Since na settle naman mo ni carlo (mrniceprice). you've already made peace with him. You two both have your learing experience with what happened to his thread. And I don't have grudges against you either. All I'm hoping is that this thread will go back to the attention of John Hu or else be closed.

@britsy relabeling is common, there's two ebay sellers in the usa that got caught for doing that, famous one to me is TTM custom shop(endorsed artists use usa made guitars while the masses get guitars from china @ usa prices)
