Better have the dog examined by a vet so you will know the real condition of the other pups inside the dog's tummy. Fil Chi vet clinic has facilities for x-ray and ultrasound.

rom,gud pm.sa ako nabasahan (ug a bit of experience sad),kay sometimes canids have actually a tendency towards fetal resorption(kanang ieliminate sa own system sa dog ang fetus by means of absorbing it) & or abortion.its actually nature's way of eliminating something that's too much for the body to bear.usually mahitabo ni cya if either daghan kau ang pups or naay trauma or stressful conditions nga nahitabo sa dam or nakaconsume ug substance like na makacause ug abortion like dexamethasone.
nakasuway ani ang lab sa ako frend 40days prior to the date of birth naa nigawas na usa ka pup buhi but pink pa jud & eventually namatay jud ang pup/fetus but back to normal ang iya pregnant lab up to sa date of birth( i think that was 59 or 60 days) nanganak ang iya lab ug 9 healthy pups.
but,much better jud if u have ur dog checked by ur vet just to make matters safe & sure
