Fire that corrupt chief hahahahhaa XD
after so many years natangtang najud ang dakong buaya sa GSIS.
Before anything else, we should ask the questions first:
Who are these teachers who want to fire Winston? What is their background? Do they have valid and credible reasons? Are they representative of all teachers in the Phils.?
What are the supposed sins of Winston? Are they alleged or not? Are the supposed sins direct to him or under the principle of command responsibility? as to what degree?
How many cases have been filed against him? Was he convicted?
Is the want to firing Winston based on his political affinity or his corporate performance? You want Winston out because you hate Gloria or Gwen? is that it?
Is it the truth (his anomalies)? Is it fair to say we want Winston out just because of alleged anomalies? where is the due process there?
In the end, all appointees of previous admins have to file a resignation. Then it will be the prerogative of the new admin to accept or reject the resignation.
when you say that, how do you know he has a $200M yacht? Gossip or rumors? Was there a news article? Was it in his SALN? I want to know. I mean, we need to be factual about it...If he indeed has one, is it personally owned or owned by a corporation where he is part owner, or something like that? You don't want people to be unjustly angry to him just because of unfounded assumption or rumor, isn't it? Otherwise, storbot showbiz rana...
Criticism is OK and even encouraged. But if storbot or gikan ra sa biased emotion, NOT.
Your lola's pension issue maybe sad story but what is the statistics like your lola as compared to the rest of the GSIS members' pension. Why and how was it delayed? Whose fault was it, the clerk, staff, or Winston gyud?
My mom and dad's GSIS pension have no problems whatsoever but that does not mean just because it is so, I am satisfied w/ GSIS. What I am saying is that one has to look at the big picture rather than looking at the small picture based only on your emotions.
The big picture here is that Winston has turned around GSIS from almost bankrupt to one of the best financially performing GOCC in the country. The big picture here is that Winston eradicated syndicates w/in the GSIS that before have generated losses by fabricating fraudulent pension benefits. The big picture here is that the computerization problems is also the fault of their contractor IBM. In fact, they are suing IBM for that. Perhaps he also has command responsibility for that problem...
Again, whether we like it or not, in the end, all appointees of previous admins have to file a resignation. Then it will be the prerogative of the new admin to accept or reject the resignation, or to replace appointees.
Whoever will replace Winston, he should first tackle the computerization problem of GSIS and handle the case against IBM that will be handed to him...
