Beware of NVIDIA Graphic cards in Laptops ~ codingfreak

this has already been addressed by nvidia

and besides its an old issue that started during the 2006-2007 model of laptops with nvidia gpu with the likes of HP DV series, Dell Latitude D620 / D820 / D630

yaw lang pag generalize sir... its a very very old issue and nvidia is refunding the computer manufacturers because its their fault that they used bad soldering material.

new model laptops with nvidia GPU does not have the same issue with those laptops manufactured way back 2006 - 2007

    THINKPAD.
They're using it in the International Space Station. Why would you think they'd choose a Thinkpad?
Google magnesium alloy rollcage, and hard disk airbag technology

My Panasonic Toughbook 19 is one bloody tough lappy to break. I i have and i am still using one now for my fieldwork trips. And have been using it for about 3yrs in the worst possible bloody conditions on terra firma. From wet salty air of Southern Africa, hot windy sandy desert of Central Australia to the frozen environment off Antartica and high atmospheric conditions of Northern India.. Still works and functions perfectly, though i can't say otherwise on how good it looks now after all that (after it's been). I've splashed this in seawater; dropped this in desert sand and spilled coffee on it; dropped this from a moving Rover, a shallow brook; a coconut fell on it (while inside my backpack); soaked it wet when i fell off a kayak and cushioned my fall when i fell off a uptrail; left it outside on a freezing night (by accident)
This beast literally eats a beating for brunch...

IBM Thinkpads are also tough. My R50e dinosaur's still alive to this day, and functions perfectly well too. This endured numerous coffee spills and a few bumps.
