Why not go to both places in one trip.
You can take CX to BKK and do a stopover in HK (2 nights or something) coming back.
Then it will be up to you to decide which is better![]()
You are kinda right. But i think i would be safe if im still stayed a few days more because i am staying at the cheaper hotel UP in the higher portions instead of along the beach.

Kung mo adto mi either HongKong o Bangkok, pila may kailangan nga budget?? More or less mga one week ang akong plano.
Bangkok, definitely. HK is so small, malinis lang sya at orderly. But Bangkok has culture, diversity, color. And the food is just great, plus you can go to interesting places outside the city, ayuthaya, chiang mai, chiang rai. And the cost is very cheap, cheaper than the Philipppines. You can even go to Cambodia (and see the Angkor Wat) by bus. Now, Cambodia is really, dirt cheap. You can get fan rooms near Angkor Wat for as low as $2 per pax per night!
Bangkok, Adto mi nag honeymoon sa ako hubby. Food is great and cheap, esp the fruits. Imagine grapes nila dagko kaayo, twice sa size ana baligya nganhi at 40 baht per kilo. People are friendly though most can't speak english. There are a lot of places to see and daako na ang $100 ngadto, daghan naka mapalit ana, not like sa hk. Mahal na..![]()
