Paint Thinner used to revive dead motherboards?

not possible dead boards are dead esp when the board chips are fried already, though this is a good idea for cleaning your mobo thinner usually dissolves the clear layer called varnish on your mobo making it prone to short circuit due to dust contacts and etc..

I think most of the guys replying to the thread has tried this one, I for one have witnessed-in-action

dead mobo being reusable again, by using thinner or lacquer thinner and the best one mahalon nga

wow thumbs up with that bro i have witnessed one too but have you ever witnessed an electrostatic burnout?.. it's way cooler than dead mobo's coming up working..

mobo's are designed shiny on its surface not because it looks good to see..

ang ako kay water with mild soap and brush(toothbrush)... then let it dry for 24 hours and use a blower(not the hair blower)...

lacquer thinner will do better when cleaning mobos. dries faster

then reheat after sa mga contact points..

tried successfully twice
