have four friends who had the same car model. all four of them had to change their tranny. galants are known to have that said problem. so if you ask me, i would not get for one. Hope this helps...

My first galant was an MPI 6th Generation 1992 Galant, medyo mas dako siya consumo sa gas but all i can say is that the car is tough engine ug body wise. If you dont mind paying a premium for gas money, then go for it.
