Silliman Cited as Top Nursing School
Silliman University clinched the number one spot on the list of top 20 nursing schools in the Philippines.
The list was based on data released by the Professional Regulation Commission-Educational Statistics Task Force on the performance of nursing schools in the country in the licensure examinations for the last five years, 2004-2008. An article in the June 9, 2010 issue of The Philippine Star carried the list.
Silliman was ranked first with an averaged passing rate of 96.57 per cent. Coming in second and third are Saint Louis University (95.42) and Trinity University of Asia (95.06), respectively.
na-a pa diay ang silliman? buhi pa diay gihapon, ma-ayo nu-on? napordoy na man kuno, college of nursing nalang kuno ang shining armour ug ga subsidize sa tibuok university. ambot tinu-od ba kaha? mora bya ko hapit na motu-o nga pordoy na. na-a pod labor unrest diha. aw, hinu-on chada man pud ang st. paul university ug norsu, wa blema na-a ra kabalhinan kana kon dawaton.
all your information are wrong:
1) what makes you think Silliman will just disappear into thin air? It's really funny for you saying that.
2) all the academic units of the University are all contributing to the financial coffers and it's no monopoly by the College of Nursing, although they have one of the the biggest contributions.
3) the faculty labor strikes have been resolved more than a decade ago, 12 years to be exact. And Admin-Faculty relations are as strong as ever.
4) you simply cannot compare SPUD and NORSU because they are not in the same league, i'm sorry it's a disrespect for Silliman if you compare it with those two schools.
