wala mana sa pana, nara man jud na sa indian.

perog nindot imung pana nya maayu pajud ka nga indian, how better would that be?

though i think dili kau daghan ang naka kuha sa nindot nga pana nya maayu nga indian, most of us falls either of the two...

    sa laing bahin,
but i think clapton wouldnt play a cheap strat copy....even if he likes to, fender could sue him for doing that!

    Mabix,

Hehe.Â* It's ok for Billy Joel to play his retired "cheap strat copy"Â* because he is not primarily a guitarist.Â* But a pianist, singer and songwriter.Â* Remember Billy Joel plays Grand Pianos and quality electronic pianos.Â* Which is only fitting for him to play.Â* Why not ask him to play a cheap Yamaha Porta sound na tag P10,000.00 as his main instrument.Â* IÂ* think he would only smile at you and politely decline your offer.Â* Hehe.Â* This is a lesson to be learned.Â* Again, this separates the great players from the mediocre. hehehe lol.Â* Kclan said its very nicely- if you have talent and are serious with it,Â* you need to invest.Â* An instrument is a voice.Â* Its up to you if you want to have a nice voice or not. Me- I like to have a nice voice. hehe.Â* Just like what you said,Â* if you have talent you can make a cheap strat copy sound very nice. I dont oppose that. ok so you have your million bucks sound there.Â* Pero,Â* Â*Unsa na lang if you have talent plus you have a real High end fender strat?Â* dont you think the guy with the talent and with a super nice strat will sound better than the former?Â*Don't you think he will sound like a billion bucks?Â* Watcha think?Â* Â*Â* Peace!!! hehe

wahaha, and you just reiterated my point bai, joel is a pianist but have you heard him play the guitar? actually bai, you know him as a piano player but you didn't know he also played really good on guitars? gotcha. thats why i said he'd play your cheap strat copy and make it sound fantastic coz in the 1st place he doesn't handle guitars as his front. and btw, some pros prefer a strat copy over a real deal. why? some of these gtrz have unique sounds, some can emulate the real deal(customized strat copy), an best of all, its cheap. and again it does not separate the pros from the wanabees.

I'm sure everybody would not say no if given a real strat but why settle for that if you had the "nice voice" you've always wanted with your "cheap" strat copy? gets? and no bai, he would not "smile and politely decline". word. LeLz.

and btw, try putting OTs on your post. let's respect istoryan rules.

hehe. dont get mad ha. hehehe. btaw, there's no point in agruing about this. anyway this is just talk. you can have your view and mine too. You are not wrong and i am not wrong. hehehehehe. Well basing on my personal exerience (ayaw nalang apila si eric clapton and billy joel) I had a P700 strat when i started playing and now i have US strats and likewise, I have played a singature series strat and deluxe models. I've played several Gibson Les Pauls. I can tell you the tone is worlds apart and if you want I would like to extend to you my friendly invitation to you to give it a listen. here's my cell number 09173202978. I've played original teles too. But I like strat more because it is so versatile. You can produce lots of different tones (within topic na ha) hehehe. But dont get me wrong. teles are nice guitars too.

It's just a healthy discussion thread bai, no point in getting mad. points have been made. it just goes to show na naay choices ang mu invest sa instruments. mao to ako ponto. of course they will be worlds apart for any apparent reason but with the right adjustments some may be on par. others may find the right sound sa mga strat copies. mao ra to. bow.
