what ive heard bout this don gambino baltazar is that he owned a large tract of land in cebu (or lapu2x?) which was allegedly bought by the city government for a very cheap price.. how and why, only the osmena patriarch knows...an airport was built on some portions of that land.. im not quite sure if it was the one in lahug or in mactan...

this certain don baltazar was highly favored by ranking officers the japanese occupational army during the war.. i have no idea as to what these favors are..

as what ive heard, this guy had been a victim of graft and corruption by local officials and also suffered some problems within his household....

im really interested in tracking down the descendants.. saon, panahon pa man ni sa kalolohan.. not much who remembered this guy...

regarding sa history.. they are friends with dr. rizal.. and even exchanged letters in some point in his early years...

like I found a manuscript my lolo wrote about his boyhood sa province. he described the railway from carcar to danao. that mango ave was just a foot path with lots of mango trees. that there used to be white sand but was sold by the mayor. now we just have mud!

i'm interested to know more about don gambino.

out of curiousity lang. yeah.. ive seen lots of old pics of mango avenue and downtown area during the 60s...

im also interested because of the political climate.. there maybe people out there that have "potential"...

yup.. ive also heard stories of the osmenas selling cebu city..
