The way I see it, this case will drag on for years, should the plaintiff pursue the claims... And by our laws, the manufacturers are only required to replace the product (1 is to 1) should there be any complaints, otherwise, if there were any physical injuries that occurred. I've seen this kind of claims in my company too. The court normally would rule in favor of the manufacturer, especially, with this huge claims for damages.
