It really depends on the size on your pharmacy... in our main branch, we have around 24 people coz 24hrs man ang among pharmacy... the minimum capital for me is around 3-5million na cya.. ang roi, lets just say na if you run it well, dili jud kamahayan... you can hire pharmacist from anywhere, pag advertise lang.. basta ang usual salary ana nila kung starting is around 18k a month...

In this kind of business you would really need a big capital especially when you are planning to sell branded medicines or meds that came from big medicine company like novartis, pfizer, and many others! I think for starters generic medicines is the way to go, low capital nah high in profit pah! example a generic amoxicillin 500mg company price is 1.50 per capsule we sell it for 3 pesos! i know this generic antibiotic sells here in cebu market 4-5 pesos per cap.

Bro kua advise nimo if nahan jud ka sell ug generic products dli man jud necessarily na mu sud ka into franchising! Naa man mga lain drug companies na naga distribute sa mga generic na mga tambal @ much cheaper rate than offered sa the generics pharmacy! pag makit an to nako resibo sa mua comprahanan inform tika!daghan kau kapilian bro!

I am a Registered Pharmacist... ug ako dili ko magpa rent nimo.. hahahah.. you know what risk kaau na nga part sa pharmacist, renting their license for just 5k to 6k.. which is ok lang pero wala man gud ka knowledge pa. ikw pud mismo kay pharmacist para naa ka knowledge na. ug masakpan sa BFAD, ang 4 years of hard work sa skol and ang pag pasar sa board exam ma hulog ra nga wala na... I dont want that to happen.. R.A. 5921 thats the pharmacy law

My wife and I opened a small pharmacy last January here in Leyte, its a good thing that its just near the municipal health centre so the patients would simply cross the street and purchased medicines from us. Generic products are usually in demand.
