To be honest, naa man test sa patents without risking your invention. Just like what happened with the florescent bulb. dba gi patent na xa sa isa ka pinoy? it was revolutionary at his time... then he sold the patent to GE.
My point is, it is possible to get a patent and get your invention certified by scientific organizations as the real thing without giving them a chance to copy it..
DTI and Toyota went there to take a look, but they weren't allowed to do a thorough investigation. One way to know is by using a machine to check for any fuel emission. Another is e piece by piece xa.. Dingle refused cause he doesn't want his invention copied, but why invite Toyota in the first place?
Why would you invite Car manufacturers when you don't want them to do a thorough investigation? Easy.... He invited them to make it look good. Again, there's a way of showing your invention to the world without risking it.
