My realization:

It's right that you do your part in a relationship; yet, you should never overdo it. Kanang nasobrahan ra pud ka ug exert sa imung kaugalingun. Ang resulta ana kay makahuna-huna ka nga ikaw ra ang gabuhat sa tanan when in fact, you just didn't give your partner a chance.
