we too had bad experience with Chong hua, cge sila kulit sa mga tests.. magka dako nalang ang bill. di gihapon maka diagnose sa disease. im not gonna elaborate further.

akong tita from Leyte way back in 2002 niadto sa cebu for a checkup.. complain niya kay severe abdominal pain.

didto nila nakita nga advanced stage of GI cancer akong tita..
4th stage and LATA na diay kau ang GI tract niya

after a few days namatay na akong tita sa hospital.

You get what you pay for. Chong-hua is a high-class hospital with some of the best equipment in the country. Vicente Sotto is an affordable, government-run hospital with bad equipment. The problem with some people is they want the best equipment at the cheapest price. There are many choices in hospitals here, but people sometimes delude themselves into thinking they are rich when they are not. If you can't afford Chong-hua then you should go to another hospital. The equipment they use are very, very expensive and they don't pay for themselves! Don't expect the other patients to shoulder your expense. This is not a socialized hospital.

Wake up call ra ni. The rich go to hospitals for the rich. Those who are not, go to hospitals that cater for them. That's the harsh reality, but that's just the way it is. Complaining about how expensive Chong Hua is, is as stupid as complaining about how expensive St. Luke's Medical Center is in Manila. Of course they are expensive. If they are too expensive for you, then why go there? Nobody is forced to go to these particular hospitals, so these hospitals should not be forced to drive their prices down either.

I'd hate to say it but I agree as Chong Hua has been there as far as i remember, when I had my mom checked, they had her stay the night as well and was surprised to know down to the last detail we had to pay extra aside from room. Pillows, sheets, etc. Its one thing when your dealing with a sick relative and cost being shoved in your face.

Ie - can we get extra sheets and pillows , sir you'll have to pay extra , ok ra ? Ummmmm ok nalang since we need it.

I don't know if they will ever change this but its sad knowing its a place to heal.

money faces of chung hua ospital. my father is in the hospital right now becoz of his tooth nga ni hubag pag paibot nya.. then di na sya ka nga2x sa iyang baba nag lock iyang JAW after 2 days because the dentist made a mistake wala mohatag ug antibiotic and pain reliver ra so nag nana ang gums. then gi.admit. then gipasa2x me ug doctor each doctor has profesional fees baya. then doctor advices to have CTI sa akong father CTI- kanang mo scan sa movements things inside your head or body just like xray pero CTI i think is more on liquids in the body. gipa CTI para ma tanaw if naa bay nana padung sa lungs. and ang doctors walay nakit.an nga nana. there are 3 doctors 2 doctors said walay nana 1 doctor said naay nana sa baba.. confusing kayo pangwarta jud ni ila paita jud oi.. no.1 corrupt country jud ang philippines then ingon nasad ipa CTI ug balik karon 5 days na sya dd2 pero ok na iyang baba ka open na gamay pero di kayo dako..nya ipa CTI pajud? grabe. 81t na amo bill wat the hell for just ngipon? oh c'mon!

nganu man ni adto man mu Doctor? Ngipon na nga problema, Dentist maka solbad ana. Adto mu SM, Dentspec, professional kaayo. Nganu man ni anha man mu? gi pangwartahan sad mi ana Chong hua sauna.

I agree with you bro, youve said the truth. But if naa ka diri sa US, kiha na ang Chon Hua. Hospitals here takes good care of all people nga i rush sa emergency. bisan ug walay downpayment.

Its just sad to know nga ingon ana ang mentality sa uban hospitals. well, wala gyud mahimo ang di ka afford.
