globe have their own backbone....
if pldt owns globe's backbone it would be stupid to open up a business selling broadband connection.....

@Earlz: yeah, i've observed this myself in numerous globe-dsl subscriber friends of mine.. I'm just wondering though..which region are they much "closer" to? Europe region? US east west?

hmm i dunno only PH based server ra dli mag lisod ang mga globe,even the 2mbps plan lags a lot at Zion ( SG based server )
