true, Marcos did very well on his first 6 years of his term, If I was not mistaken we we're among the top three (if not the top) countries with regards to economy in Asia. I was told the peso rate against the dollar then was $1.00 to P1.00. We used to be called "the Pearl of the Orient." Don't really know if we still are till now.

Ramos did very well too. Yes, Gloria has the potential. I wish her luck with all the crocodiles in the vast ocean she is in now.
