your link compares HD4670, 9500GT and 9600GSO, not 9600GT as ur thread topic states.

basing on Tom's Hardware Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart here:

9600GT is a step higher than HD4670. but it takes about 3 and above steps to notice any performance difference so i would say HD4670 would perform more or less the same as 9600GT.

you choice will now boil down if u want ATi or Nvidia and the extra features they would have... and of course cost.

if u want performance, 9600gt is slightly faster than 4670.
if u want power consumtion, 4760 sips less power than 9600gt.
if u want physx, 9600gt.
if ur psu doesnt hav 6pin pcie conn, 4670 is for u. (but ther are green 9600gt's out there too)
4670 pcb size < 9600gt pcb size= fit for compact case.

winner:
hd4670, price,performance,power consumption.
