Guys, we have just set up The Bagumbayan-Volunteers for a New Philippines (Bagumbayan-VNP) Cebu Chapter. Our slogan is "We are the Instruments of a Movement Dedicated to Transform the Philippines Into a Bagumbayan, A New Philippines.

Members are required to be Red Cross members. If you are not yet a member, the group will facilitate in your training.

We do community outreach, relief missions, medical missions.

If you intend to join our group, please join in our Recruitment Page in Facebook

Our group is not the "go with the flow" thing. You need to commit yourself to do volunteer work. We also require you to read our Preamble. If we share the same advocacies, then we are the right group for you.

We intend to have our first batch of orientation this Friday, June 4, 2010. Please drop by our Facebook account and leave your number so that we will contact you for the details . If you have further concerns, you could also send your message to any of the admins.

"Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

It is a professional service, leadership and community service organisation for young men and women between the ages 18–30. Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world.

"Rotaract" stands for "Rotary in Action", although the name originally comes from a combination of "Interact" (International + Action), the high school level programme created by Rotary International in 1962.

Most Rotaract activities take place at the club level. Rotaract clubs hold formal meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, special outings, social activities, discussions or visits to other clubs. Club members get together on designated days for service project work, social events, or professional/leadership development workshops.

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

To be eligible for membership, prospective members must be 18–30 years of age, show that they are committed to Rotaract, and show that they are of good standing in the community. After being approved by the club, prospective members are 'inducted' to become members, also known as 'Rotaractors'.

To those who are interested to join in this organization Please contact:

They will all be taught how to cook, clean the house and wash clothes.
They will all be taught the value of hard work

The proceeds will be used to finance this project.

Sir, ako pud. Ganahan ko mu volunteer ani if ever mag start naka sa imung project.
