.. thanks for the nice clip. it clearly is not a penalty. much more of a diving to me. the defenders' foot was clearly not aiming for the italians anatomy. the left foot of the italian only got caught with the aussies left arm. but then, it happened so fast that the referee calls what he sees.

Everything's been sorted out..goodbye to the pretenders, like South Korea, Ghana, Australia and the like...only the traditional powers (with exception of Ukraine) remain and rightfully so!!!! It's win or go home!!!

Germany vs Argentina - this fixture robs us of a great final game, it's a shame that these 2 teams will meet this early, but it promises to be a real classic...my prediction: whoever wins this match will go to the finals

Italy vs Ukraine - I will go with Italy not only because they have a tough backline but also because they know what it's like to play in this type of situation.

England vs Portugal - England maybe playing poorly, and they've been accused of being dull and underperfoming, but they are still unbeaten in this tournament, imagine the outcome if they figure out how to play better..and they have a score to settle with portugal whom they lost to last 2004 via PKs..and contrary to popular opinions, Beckham is not England's best midfielder, he is but fourth to Lampard, Gerard and Carrick. but he has the charisma and that wicked curling free kicks!!!! He's still England's best in set pieces too.

Brazil vs. France...instant classic, you know what happened the last time these 2 met last 98..well, Ronaldo had a nervous breakdown the night before the game..hehehehe, and Brazil lost 3-0... i'm sure he has a big score to settle here. Ronaldinho is still not making noise this late in the tournament, but he comes through during big games just like last month's Champion's League Finals with Barcelona FC...Go Brazil....
