Been to a bar and had to buy the whole bottle,say tequila,not sold by shots...

My vote goes to the lovely HONGKONG!

Disneyland is not that good. No big rides although the Disney play is nice but other than that its generally for kids, at least for now. It's kinda expensive. I heard Bangkok is better. You can go gaga for shopping coz its not as expensive as HK.

Been to Thailand it has a very strong and rich culture. Museum are all around and of course beautiful ladies are all around but be extra carefull when u play around...

Since I'm more into shopping especially tech things and designer apparells, I'd pick Hongkong over Thailand any day :mrgreen:

Depends on what your bargaining for...

I would say BKK any time, though its like Phils in many ways the Thai's are much more friendlier and polite as compared to Hongkies...you cna safely ride a tuk-tuk in BKK w/out fear of being ripped off..they respect tourist and are very pleasant to deal, my personal experience in HK includes being shout out by a local vendor because i asked how much he was selling his fruits then when i moved away he was so angry and called me names because i didnt buy from him ( happend twice on a different occasion also got friends encountering similar experience in HK) hongkies are known for being rude and shile use to tourist they are unfriendly at times. Thais though not very good in speaking English love to reach out and much more polite and respectful ( they are amazing Sawasdee people)

Food- in HK is the local chinese kopitiam while something i like is nothing compared to the rich Thai cuisne available all around BKK for excellent price ( i love spicy)

Culture- HK nothing compared to the richness and diversity of Thailand culture esp. Chaing Mai or Hatyai, great scenery too much like Philippines

HK is nothing but a big metropolis on a concrete jungle, busy street, subways, shopping, nighlife, great lights and themeparks bangkok offer these too in a much subtle way...

Again depending on what your banking for..they got different things to offer but being to both place my pick is Bangkok in a heartbeat...

^^ gypsy i agree with you...i have been to both places a number of times...and i enjoyed thailand more...i have not been to chang mai but on my next visit this is a definite place to go na jud!

I go to Thailand for relaxation, light shopping, and a little touring.
I go to HongKong for electronics and hobby shopping. HongKong's pretty much dead in terms of relaxation. Oh and if you wanna tour, head over straight to China nalang.
