I want to know your different views on this one, iStoryans especially those who have experienced this. How did you deal with these recurring dreams of your ex? Did you try to contact them or just simply let nature take its course and let it die down?

Personally, I've been seeing some interesting peeps already and enjoyed their company. I've never felt this free before and I'm so grateful that fate led me to this kind of life. I haven't thought about my ex after more than a year of our separation. However, I just simply wake up either in the middle of the night or wee hours in the morning from a dream which my ex is in it.

I don't want to entertain the idea that I haven't moved on because I have no plans nor longing to have him back but how come I always dream about him?

In psychoanalysis especially the Freudian approach, dreams are roughly interpreted as wish-fulfillment and mostly energy releases of the inner tension(mostly sexual) in your sub-conscious.
