The cocky spaniards, bowed to the more experienced France.

My choice for the round of 4. Argentina, Ukraine, Portugal, Brazil.

It's hard to choose between England and Portugal. Two coaches I admired most, Mourinho and Scolari.

Nice game gabii. Bantug ra napildi ang Czech Rep sa Ghana... maau sad midfield uy. Malas lang gyud cguro and poor lang kaau finishing.

My choice for the next round are:
    Argentina, Italy, England and Brazil

And this will probably lead to an all-south-american final... a repeat of the Confederations Cup... deja vu... the Conf Cup was also played in Germany.

Engl might have the upper hand on this game. Por will be w/o Deco and Ronaldo. My guess is Eng 2 : Por 1. Becks with another bender (chambahan pa diay... eheheh).

......... now, here comes the "real" tournament.

.. its hard to put in some predictions with this quarters line up. im having headaches from all the analysis im making. hehe.

    let's break it down:

Germany vs Argentina - argentina a young team, with a lot to prove, very aggressive in attack. While Germany on home soil, they have the top-scorer at the moment, balanced type of system.

Italy vs Ukraine - italy, underperforming. wins due to luck not by team efforts. Ukraine, virtually unknown players but is hungry for world glory

England vs. Portugal - Beckham, Rooney and co, highly favoured team to win the world cup. Performance has been mediocre. Portugal, christiano Ronaldo, Figo, is out to bury their euro finals defeat by winning the world cup.

Brazil vs France - repeat of the 98 finals, but the difference would be. Brazil has new young talents such as KaKa, Robinho, Ronaldhino. And Ronaldo is back in devastating form. While France, same "old" france.

.. i dont know who to bet, coz all of them, except ukraine, i dont like shevy, hehe, are my sentimental favourites. hehehe. Germany has Jorgen Klinnsman. Italy has del Pierro, England has Becks, Portugal has Figo, Brazil has Ronaldo and France have Zizo.
