    Exactly!

Another example - this thread is a win/win situation. The TS posted question/started topic. Someone could reply - e 'google' lang na kay naa daghan ana didtu or daghan ka mabasa regarding ana thru google, something like that. So, in all likelihood the thread will just fade away open ended. Readers will just skim through & gained/learned nothing. Proceed to next thread/s. While on this thread, some people are really answering the TS & gave good examples instead of saying 'e-google lang' . So, other readers will actually learn something from this thread. The TS got his answers, the ones who replied with the answers & some ideas did not just answer to the satisfaction of the TS but is also sharing that to those who came to the thread. Those who are just browsing will learn/get to know something w/out even interacting in the thread - it's like 'i learn something today'. WIN/WIN!

    all the best!

actually, if you read & dissect & i quote from josephdc -
"- Think win/win: Work with the other person and arrive at a solution wherein both of you feels good about your decision. It involves cooperation, not competition. "

this basically is happening to many actions/interactions in our daily life that just get unnoticed or highlighted but in essence fulfill the win/win principle.

like the classic example of teaching the impoverish how to fish than giving him fish. that's a win/win.
personal, naay daghan (all of us do actually, well, we the good ones ), one example -
ako sister nawalaan ug trabaho, galisod na siya support iya self esp sa iya rental that she can't concentrate looking for a decent job. so, i supported her w/ the rental for a couple of months then she was able to find good position for herself again. she's happy now & i'm happy coz i know she will doing fine by herself now & i won't be worrying about my little sister, too. win/win!

i still have the talking stick
sadly i misplaced the cd.. that could have been easier..
and i still pretty much remember everything that was discussed
i also have the certification for this 7 habits

from what i know.. this is a very expensive seminar..
i was given the chance to attend this certification program for free

example for the win win situation:

sampol.. naay contest sa arm wrestling.
and every time ma pildi nimo ang kontra maka daog ka ug cash.
imbis na magpa kusganay mo.. and mu daog lang ug ka-usa
magpa pildi ka.. daog ang kontra ug cash..
next game magpa pildi ang kontra.. daog ka ug cash..
    balik balik.. lang..
point ani is.. we were taught to be competitive.. but we dont need to compete with each other everytime.
that example was on the book 8th habit by stephen covey
