I think you've got all the suspects narrowed down, SpongeBob. Importante gyud nang rest. That's the biggest problem with runners. We try to soldier on and run through pain...it's hard to shake off machismo (or the Rambo syndrome) sometimes but one day we all mature and wise up, don't we?
It's also important to ice the sore spot as well, if you've already ruled out possible hairline fracture. Otherwise, if your problem is chronic and doesn't resolve itself with long periods of rest...or kung mo balik-balik siya every time you increase running activity...you may want to get a second opinion from another specialist. The problem may require surgery...but hopefully you're problem's not that bad (yet).
Pero sakto nang imong analysis. Number one suspect gyud nang shoes. Ambot lang anang running form. Naay basic principles pero our running forms are basically unique...morag signature nato. Suspect number two nang training program...running too far too soon or too fast too soon or too much speedwork.
Having said that, the rewards from running (from aerobic fitness to increased energy levels to what I call that gaunt look) is worth all the soreness, waking up at dawn...and getting chased by dogs.

The problem is that sometimes running gets the better of us and we overdo it.
