As for me, I'm happy with the company. The people are accommodating -- always ready to help, even if di mo ka team.

If growth ang sturyahan, yup, there is growth. Di nga lang mao sa kung unsa ang ako gi expect pag apply nako -- since the team where I was assigned into was more on the hardware side, which is just far from my expertise.

Pero everything depends in the employee raman sad gud. Since NCR is practicing SelfService, you can never expect a lot of classroom trainings (if there is). The company has provided us with tools that are to be used for personal growth, and its just up to us if we are going to use it or not. Ang problema lang, kapoy ug basa...

Right now, I already know how to write Batch and Perl Script, and I'm also doing better with C++.

If ever man sad gani I am assigned to a task which I consider boring, like testing. Then ako nalang sad ang mo make ug way to spice things up buy creating scripts to automate the tests. That way, continuous ang ako growth even on small tasks.

Ang problema lang gyd nako dri is ang sweldo... hehehe...

In NCR, one has to be resourceful para maka.learn ug mu.grow. You can ask Mr Google and friends anything you want to know.
But if magpatapol tapol lng, ug maghuwat lng ug tulod kay di jud ka mu.grow..
I guess it's a general and an encompassing principle man and is applicable to any walks of life.

wala man company nga perfect... i think it just happened nga naa lng concerned ex-ncr employee nga nag buhat ani nga thread.

for sure, there are other IT companies out there nga naa pod issues, but then again, company dependent ra na.

as i would always say, naa ra na if mgpda ka sa mga problems...

relax lng ta mga guys. wala tana tai personalan. i-confront nlng kha nang gi-kalagotan ninu para mahuman na ang issue. ma close pa lng nya ni nga thread... hehehe...

i just hope all of us would try to set an example to potential freshgrads out there that are currently looking for probable companies to apply to. IMHO...

Both sa Test ug Dev k naa man jud improvements, depende ra jud na sa tao kung naa pud xa eagerness to improve, kana naa initiative to improve himself/herself...ana gani....
pro kung pa relax2x lng gani, dli na mo go beyond sa iyang task mao na ma stagnant na.....
sa testing man gud diri sa NCR naa automation testing og manual testing, so naa jud ka dako kau na chance mo improve sa imong career.

so kamo mga aspiring applicants, ayaw mo kahadlok apply sa NCR as a tester, you will learn a lot as a tester here in NCR....

I was able to read this post by BB185xxx and mostly the last part. So i cant really stop my my self on commenting this.. You know what BB185xxx boy you really sucks.. im a prevoius Dev in NCR, i never did said anything wrong against my team mates or the work of other.. and your talking about growth while i really think you never grow because the way you talk it seems that your a cry baby or somewhat of a gay..I ask some of my friends who are still there in NCR because your acccount is really obvious bb185052 and they said you that your not even that good they grade you 2 (with 1 as the lowest) ....Read this cause it's true..i dont know you but my friend's do.... and now your talking about growth... i really think as what is said by the guys here it was you who never grow..your really dumb... and about this yok2x for sure your in the same team or friends cause you both have a small brain...dude why did NCR accept this guys..This guys dont deserve to be in NCR.. they are parasites... Guys, lets just get back to the real topic. All of these arguments in this post wont give a good impression on the applicants of NCR. I bet BB185xxx has already learned his lesson on this, so, just forgive each other and continue with work.
