I've tried a mesa i forgot the model kinda old one.. but sa ENGl i just visit their site to listen to its sound clips... mao sad nay down side sa engl daw ang versatility but specific a.u cla kung para asa gi design ang amp esp. sa metal... i've been a fan on loomis and broderick lately and i love their sound... save pako ani taman for a couple of years. heheh just to get the pwerball or the fireball head.. nahan ko sa ila sound murag triple rect with a mixture of a jcm800 di basa... naa kay blackstar na amp? nice xa bay...

yes naa ko blackstar, i didnt buy it for its cost but for what it can offer, back then walay amp na mu rival sa iya tonal options sa HT5 karun naa goldea, e-wave, kld amps na chinese na more of as tweaking amps na maka hatag pud daghan tonal options depende sa model.,pero even big name brands have come up with budget friendly amps na daghan ma offer pud EgnateR(Tweaker ug rebel series), Bugera(v5(not so much sa v5),V22 and V55, Ibanez(TS amp wala pa maabot), Laney, Mesa (express)..etc.

you dont need expensive pedals to music that is true,

but i think to be fair on both sides, yes you can be happy with your boston pedal as long as it provides what you need,BUT would a really well research non mass produced pedal be better? i have to say yes. Tone is in the fingers? its subjective because more of the dynamics is on how you relate to what you're doing, if you dont feel like playing and you force it, it wouldnt come out as good, But also an unresponsive pedal can really affect your playing.

I can certainly agree other than a good guitar your need a really responsive amp but that will cost, lets say if you have a Coolidge Amp, certainly it shows you have the money to buy something better than a Boston Pedal,

mo play gyud nuon ug part ang fingers regarding sa tone... execution... ako nabantayan sa boston pedals is ok lang cya when guitar lang ang magtingog, pero when you play with the band na... murag monipis cya nya murag walay power and clarity, pero sa ako nabantayan naa man gud match2x ning gears, like this one doesnt sound good on this... wa pa cguro na discover ang perfect match sa boston peds hehehe... pero it pays gyud to have a nice sounding gear aron imong problem is imong guitar playing nalang hehehe... idol nako http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gO7FI_ogvA mura nag violin ang guitar... c tal wilkinfield ayaw nnu hilabti ha watch lang mo hahaha

yup of course naa jud na gear matching and parts matching, i think even the stock suhr pro pickups are to bright for the guitar and i could remedy this either not using a fender variant amp or change my pickups that are more darker sounding..
