my camera don't have support for kelvins when adjusting white balance. so when AWB can't give me the results I want, I can only do custom white balance by photographing something white or by choosing any of the presets light sunlight, shade, tungsten, etc.. so if i can't get it right, that's the time I say I'll make bawi in lightroom later.![]()
I use kelvin white balance a lot specially for those occasions that the light is uneven or I cant get the right skintone or skincolor I want...
my technique in choosing a white balance is through live view.
if you have a live view on your camera select it. While viewing on your live view adjust the white balance of your choice. You can see the WB changes in instant.

yeah i do that a lot specially in my point and shoot camera. viewing the effects of the white balance setting via live view. hehe.but there are times when the presets in the white balance just cant hit the right results so I usually have a white card in my camera bag (dSLR) or pouch (PnS) so I can do quick custom white balance. none of my cameras can allow me to set Kelvin manually.
d ni kalikayan oi nobodies perfect, for me I stand on the side sa mogamit ug photoshop ky sometimes d nato makita ang sayop sa atong lcd sa camera makita lang nato na inig transfer sa image, like lens distortion if u know what I mean? unsaon man pag fix sa imong fav image sa imong shot if magka lens distortion? ayaw kog ingna d ka mogamit ug photoshop?
