    Default Direct2Drive

Have any of you tried paying and downloading games from Direct2Drive?
    Is it worth it?
    Is it cheaper?

Prices are very similar to retial shops ( like Datablitz ) new games come out at $49.99,$39.99 depending on the dev and older ones are at $29.99.
The only benefits i see here is that you can get legit games on its release date, other than that other sources are free and ealier if you just want to play the game w/o its online features.

Thanks for your input EarlZ. I agree that it would be a boon to pc gamers who don't want to wait for their favorite game to be available at their usual official retail outlet. One of the things that's disadvantageous with
Direct2Drive games is that you can't apply usual patches to their games. You'd have to wait for Direct2Drives's patch version.
