w/ regards to sour graping.. dili man sour graping ang issue dri, but noynoy's stand na dili mo recognize sa CJ even w/ the SC's ruling.. & to those who would make the argument that over 13M voted for noynoy, nag pildido na suya lang, vox populi vox dei is not always the case.. the majority can be wrong.. i'll give you 2 examples:
during the time of Jesus, the only guys who didnt want Him dead were 11 apostles, 72 disciples, 2 mary's (magdalene & the mother) & a few more people, (pilate was neutral).. & everybody else wanted Him dead.. was the majority right
during the time of Galileo, only a few people welcomed the idea that the earth was not the center of the universe.. & that the earth revolved around the sun, but galileo & these few people who ventured into science & found amusement in the 'copernican principle' were of course outnumbered by the majority & by the church.. but today (w/ better telescopes obviously) nakit-an man kung kinsa ang sayop.. a few months ago, nag exhibit man gani ang vatican sa works ni galileo & admitted to their mistakes..
sour graping?, 13M voters? ..ngano masuya man ko.. history will chastise
-- naay hongihong nga ang usa sa adviser ni ninoy maoy nag sol2x... influential/adviser sad ni cya ni GMA before, nya former partner sa usa ka associate justice, powerplay ba..
Mao na. As the lawyers' joke goes:
If the RTC makes a mistake, it is gross ignorance of the law on the part of the judge.
If the CA makes a mistake, it is a reversible error.
If the SC makes a mistake, it is The Law.
And by the way, in a system of checks and balances, of which the SC is a vital component, it is Noynoy's administration that the SC should be checking, not Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (who will soon become inconsequential to Philippine politics).
Seen this way, it is clear why Noynoy and company so badly wanted the power to appoint the Chief Justice. They would have wanted to appoint Justice Antonio Carpio (who is friendly to them), but Carpio played right into the hands of GMA when he played up to the gallery and withdrew his name from consideration by the JBC. Oops!
So now Noynoy is quickly realizing something everyone else knew all along--he cannot unravel this Gordian knot created by PGMA. If he says any more, he risks alienating his administration from a co-equal branch of government. So just grin and bear it, Noy!
But Erap would never have taken office because he is constitutionally barred. Had he won it would have been a simple matter of questioning his victory before the SC. The bigger question is why COMELEC allowed the clown to run in the first place.
Kung daog si Erap, dili ka lingkod. Ang mahimong presidente unta kay si Binay.![]()
