Either of the both, the outcome is still the same.
Trust me, it's never too later for anything as long as you are still breathing.

    mura xa'g pareho rah..bt mura'g dili sad..

para nakoh is.. gi-set free nah nimo xah.. for his own part nanah..

but letting go means.. ikaw mismo.. is now ready to move on and not just "forget".. you can let go without forgetting, instead you "forgive".. you forgive that person.. and you forgive yourself..

though dili ingon ana kadako ang difference..but the result after is quite broad..hmmn..

lisod sad ani nga question oi...
for me, letting go happens in two ways. first, when you're not happy anymore so you have to let him/her go because you'll only gonna hurt him/here. second, when your partner is not happy with you anymore so you have to let go, set him/her free, and wish him/her happiness.
setting free happens when you're partner is not happy with you anymore and you have to set him/her free. you can't say "i don't love you anymore so i have to set you free." it's the opposite.

was i able to give justice to the question?
