ok ra ba kung ang and dual channel kit (2x1GB) sagulan ug 2GB ng ram? dili ba ma sacrifice ang performance?

i tried searching google na pero i just cant find the right answer.

Make sure your dual channel kit is in the right memory slot para mo function in dual channel. You can put the extra 2gb on any slot

but it will work as single channel mode if you do 2x1GB + 2GB. if you want to have it on dual channel mode then it should be 2x1GB + 2x1GB OR 2GB + 2GB configuration. you can google this for further explanation.

dual channel works in pair. naa na daan sa iya name "dual". 2x1GB+GB = single channel mode.

murag pwede mu work ang 2x1gb + 2x2gb

ie

Dimm0 + Dimm2 (2x1gb)
Dimm1 + Dimm3 (2x2gb)

imo murag mahulog ug single chan ang 2x1gb + 1x2gb.

still 4gb is big enough for your daily need.

mas better kung dual/triple chan kung mag OC ka. Sa normal operations dili man nako ma-feel ang diff. Bigger mem capacity though makes a huge difference.
