    Take note that St. Paul carried out excommunication even in the early Church (1 Corinthians 5:1-5)

Should you not rather have been sorrowful? The one who did this deed should be expelled from your midst I, for my part, although absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as if present, pronounced judgment on the one who has committed this deed, in the name of (our) Lord Jesus: when you have gathered together and I am with you in spirit with the power of the Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.


    Now that was St. Paul himself teaching excommunication! Food for thought...

    also, unsa may naa anang excommunication ba?... ngano man diay na?... kung maexcommunicate ta, di na ta malangit ana?... kanang moingon nga ang usa ka taw naexcommunicate niya di na makakuyog sa Ginoo, unsa na siya Ginoo na siya nga makahukom ana?...

    You seem to be missing the point. Excommunciation is taught in the Bible and practiced by the Apostles. Please see the context of my previous post.

    1 - catholic church is an organization
    2 - as such they have specific rules
    3 - if you break the rules you suffer the consequences
    4 - free masonry is against catholic church rules
    5 - therefore freemasons are excommunicated

    so archer and blackwidow you are both excommunicated ....kasabot mo?? or balik balikon pa ni nako? kagahi ba ninyo ug ulo....!

    kaguol ba ninyo ma excommunicate ...ako gani gusto sad ma excommunicate.....ari na lang mo pa member sa pop corn club ...way daghang balaod...the only rules are that you worship in spirit and truth...

    yes manny i actually am missing the point... you qouted a bible passage and said that was talking about excommunication... so then enlighten me on how that passage talks about excommunication...

    as i understand it, that passage talked about person A doing a sin, and with all the efforts of a whole group [church] to correct him but still he refuses to listen, he is to be treated as a gentile [or that would mean being excommunicated, creect?]...

    so anyway, in this case here [about this topic] being a freemason is the sin?... why is it a sin?... i still fail to understand why it is a sin... because the church says so?... then what is the church's basis?... and please, if you will answer me with copied and pasted documents, just post a link to them, and post your OWN words and ideas instead... i'm not really fond of reading really long articles...

    If you claim other sources are inaccurate simply becuase they aren't yours, then YOUR word is hardly any more credible.

    At least I haver presented publicly available, published sources that have been reviewed by their peers and have stood the test of time. These can be easily checked and verified. YOUR "sources", however, CANNOT.

    You ask questions and you were answered.
    WRONG again. I wasn't mainly asking questions. I was mainly posting information. I requested you to ask a question to prove how wrong your denials were. And for weeks tyou were afraid to ask asimple question of your superiors! And, of course, you didn't even ask the follow up question!

    Finally, you continue to use poor reasoning that always backfires on you. if you tried using rational arguments instead we might get somewhere.
