UPDATE: Effective February 26, 2010:
From Globe:
"Your Duo just got better! Now you can enjoy unlimited calls to ALL DUO cel and Globe landline NATIONWIDE, FREE with your DUO subscription!"
This message was sent to my mobile number from Globe. I asked the customer service at Ayala and she said that this started last February 26, 2010.
As a Globe Duo Subscriber, we still can't bring our Duo outside of our subscription area but we can call other Duo numbers who are subscribed to Globe Duo in Manila for free. We can also now call Globelines Numbers nationwide for free.

Thanks for the info. Called Globe right away to verify. It's now in place. We can now call any Globe land line in the Philippines. We still have to be in Cebu to use our DUO.
