the clouds have an independent "banded" path going either left or right, the converging points creates ripples that causes those twisting cloud patterns...very intricate...

I can Imagine somethin by looking at those swirls and bands..
It's like pouring a cold milk to a hot chocolate... then slowly stirring it will cause swirls hihihi
about the topic,
that "southern band", unsay composition ana nila rodsky? I guess (guess) that the compositions varies in every band.. I think?
bai nag libog nako, sa frst 4 pics nimo ang grs kay naa sa babaw then karon,
sa animated gif,
naa na sa ubos?
As I explained before, the first 4 images were taken by astronomers THROUGH their TELESCOPES, and it's a convention among astronomers to publish their photos with the southern part of the celestial body on top kay kini man ang makit-an nila kung mo-li-li sila sa eyepiece sa ilang telescope. Kanang two images sa ubos, dili man na photos taken with a telescope--one is a diagram, and the other was taken by the Pioneer 10 space probe while approaching Jupiter, so since dili telescope ang nagtake nianing duha ka photos, there is NO NEED to show the southern pole as being on the top of the photo.

Climate change even on Jupiter.
But yeah, for the SEB to disappear so quickly is intriguing.
