what model of laptop?,, well, there are still alot of factors affecting battery performance. not just by removing the battery when not in use.

kung, sige pod nako ni ipa lowbatt, diba naa lang pila ka cycle ang lithium battery? i guess mga 1000 cycle.

1cycle = 1 discharging and charging. Bisan pa 1 second nga discharge and charge it is considered 1cycle.

So typically, if 1000cycles ang life sa battery, then it should last 3 to 4years.

Broe, our lappy model is ASUS X51R, wa jud nah tangtang battery....Everyday usage, the battery is always there, even at full bars, way tangtangay...still going strong karon...faayter ayu...and were using the same sistema sa amo HP 6510b core 2 duo@2.2 ghz

Ingon ako migo ba nga ang laptop always plugged in sa outlet lessens the battery life. kami man gud when im in our house, always jud ni naka plug para when ill go out. full bar pa.

The battery will be use also as an UPS, its a protection for your laptop. Asa ka mo prefer ma extend ang battery or ang lifespan jud mismo sa laptop?
