ive tried reformatting the desktop of my friend and installed a windows 7 i didnt install any audio driver and the audio was fine.. the latest OS now a days can automatically give a software for the audio to work. dont need some downloading. its better kung naay original software jud and that would usually come from the CD (or adto ka sa website)na dala sa motherboard nimo. check it out and install it kung naa ang cd sa imo motherboard.
