Because most of pilipinos kung naa sila'y 1 peso, ilang magasto kay 5pesos.. gi utang ang 4pesos..

I don't totally agree we failed to succeed just because of pessimism.. it a matter of choice, most of us forget to think the other side which is positive... financial literacy also is essential to us... I am an OFW, but I have observed here thou, some people earn good money here but still ended up nothing, why because most of OFW's dont know how to differentiate the needs and wants.. it is very rampant to see here, buying new flat screen TV's, gadgets, digital cameras, nice cars, stereos.... Its not bad at all you see, but the bottom line is all these things are just going to depreciate within few months time leaving them earning nothing.. whereas if they invest into something income generating activities/programs or engage in entrepreneurship, then for sure will reap the harvest in due time... I always share my views on financial literature to my colleagues, and I can see to them their amazement, as if its new to them.. Though I am not financial adviser, but this is how I view things..

Back home, family members tend to ask unnecessary things... tay palit celpon... tay, palit ta auto..., tay palit ta ani... tay palit laptop... tay shopping mi.... Again, its not bad at all.. but the bottom line is, they should know how to differentiate needs and wants... Instead, why not let them engage in business, that later could reap the harvest.. by then you can have extra money, then maybe you can have those things you want to have without compromising the income.

it's really true...actually,mao pud na ang nahitabo diri sa akong mga kauban sa japan.we earned 10x compare diha sa atoa.but after their contract ends,wala gihapon madala inig pa-uli sa pinas...that's why,we must learn kung unsa ang NEEDS and WANTS...

one of the reason nga pobre ta mga filipino,wala or kulang ta sa DISIPLINA ug wala'y RESPETO...
DISIPLINA-as what i observed here in japan,mao nga progressive kaayo sila,mga disiplinado mga japanese people.kung unsa balaod,mo-follow jud sila.naay magtan-aw ug wala,they always follow.
RESPETO-most japanese people are respectful...it's so sad to think,nga we filipinos are christians,kulang ta ani nga values..
