I would just like to clarify everything about the issue that a COMELEC personnel admitted and apologized for accepting the 1M bribe given by new mayor, Mayor Joel, which resulted to what Wagas' party and supporters proclaimed "biased results".

First and foremost, that woman referred to as the one being bribed with 1M is my Mom. I know how you Wagas supporters feel about the issue since no one would ever like to be cheated upon. But your accusations regarding my mother have gone too far.

People from your circle have circulated, posted and distributed flyers with my Mom's face on them yesterday estimated time was around 6-7pm. They posted these flyers all over Compostela including Cot-Cot, Lilo-an.

These flyers alarmed not only our family's friends but also our relatives and even concerned citizens in your municipality who know my Mom very well and they know that she is better than what you accuse her to be.

My Mom has served COMELEC Compostela for almost 30 years now. She is about to retire and my Dad is a Chief Engineer in one of the largest shipping companies here and abroad. So tell me now...why would my Mom destroy her integrity that she built up for almost 30 years in exchange for a lousy 1M bribe? No politician in the local municipality would even dare to do such bribe since it's costly and it might not be worth their investment for only one person.


These malingering supporters have inflicted emotional damages against our family. We have gotten used to the usual issues pinned down on my Mother every election period but this has been the most devastating act we encountered because it involved my Mom's face in flyers that are not even true.

Tell me Wagas supporters...when your beloved Gilbert Wagas posed a death threat against my Mother did you ever tell and reflected upon yourselves if your Gilbert Wagas was indeed a good leader? I guess not.

Regarding my mother saying sorry and confessing in front of Ritchie Wagas about the bribe she accepted, do you have the witnesses to attest to such accusation? Where are your pieces of evidence? My mother's exact words were:

"Sorry Mayor, wala na jud ko'y mabuhat ana..."

What she was referring to was about Joel Quino's win, not the 1M bribe. Stop fabricating stories and lies. We can always undergo the due process of the law and file cases against each other. And we can assure you guys that we will never back down.

And regarding my mom being arrested in front of the people of Compostela was a BIG LIE. She was just escorted by the Provincial Commander himself and his Majors in going home.

Please...be sensible and sensitive enough about the stories and rumors you guys support. Let's be mature in handling the issue.

And I also forgot to mention that my Mom was accused of hacking the PCOS machines and that she used the 1M to buy our Montero and build our 2-storey house.

FYI...

My Mom doesn't even know how to turn a PC on...She doesn't even know how to use the internet or type her email address. She's not tech savvy. She doesn't even know what Google is. So tell me now, how can she hack a complicated machine? lol

And second, our Montero was bought last year thru 200k down payment (200k was acquired thru the earnings of the sold Mazda B2500 that we had) and the rest were taken off of her credit cards on a monthly basis. The total cost we paid for the Montero was around 2.5M which we did not pay IN CASH.

And third, our house was constructed around 2000 and finished around 2003. So if we had been receiving easy money, we could've paid the contractors to finish the house in 4 months or less and my Dad wouldn't have gone thru all those schoolings which he did just to get promoted for a higher rank to earn bigger salary if we had it easy.

Every sensical person would know the logic based on these facts. And by the way,

1 Million na lang jud daginuton sa akong Mama na igretire niya, she'd be receiving more than just that 1M and currently, my Dad's earning more than your Mayor Ritchie is earning so it is not our fault that we have a great car and a big house. So go figure.

As much as I would want to give you what you requested, I can't. Regarding the ballots, I have no hold of such nor could I ask my Mom to give you what you need. I'm sorry.

I just aired out my sentiments in behalf of my Mom and my family regarding the 1M bribe. But I do hope that both parties and all the Compostelahanons would get the peace that they need. My family and I are Lilo-anons but my Mom made sure that even if she's serving COMELEC Compostela that she'd do nothing to degrade her name and her dignity when it comes to the elections.

hi guys, got a latest news sa mga pipz did2 compostela. dawat nlng unta tah sa kapildihan. no solid evidence ang pilde na partido so they took the blame sa comelec (luoy sad). sori sah mga wagas pipz, im neutral and nag himo ko blog, topic is about this election... sad to say "d ko kapalit sa inyo baligya". peace to all.
