the immediate result of this law if implemented is a revolution (could even be a bloody revolution).

just imagine... wa pa man gani mo mahuman ug reklamo hangtod karon nga wa makadaug inyong kandidato, how much more kung i-implement ni nga balaod samot kadako ang gubot.
mag riot ang mga tawo, mag wild sa karsada panggub-on ang mga tindahan, mag looting.
massive civilian upheaval. posible pa gani kulatahon ang threadstarter.

    and by the way:

    > belonging to the middle class or higher class does not necessarily follow nga kabalo ka mohunahuna kinsa ang angay botaran.
    > being a tax payer does not necessarily mean nga capable ka of making a wise decision during election.
    > and lastly, i know of many stores and shops that don't pay taxes properly by not issuing receipts pulos ra job order or delivery receipt ihatag para makaiwas sa tax, di ni sila pabotaron?

    OK ka ani nga idea.

    atong pun-an:

If income tax payers are the ones allowed to vote, then the elected officials main job must be to provide income tax paying jobs to the people. If at the middle of their term, the unemployed is not decreasing, they must step down from their position.

Another way of looking at this:
No electoral reforms but abolish income taxes from salaried employees. The deficit should be equally or proportionately distributed among all taxable commodities. Sa ingon ani nga paagi, dagku na atong sweldo, and we will think twice in buying unnecessary expensive goods.

this idea is offensive to basic human rights. This will create civil disturbances and possibly will lead to revolution. We are talking about excluding many people from lower social classes. I doubt if they will agree to any of this. This proposal will only create greater problems for us as a country.
