sir unsa to pangalan sa hybrid na coconut?

  4. #24
i have malaysian red dwarf x katigan....

try sa pca, but i doubt that they have one sa butuan, you would have to order it....bukidnon or zamboanga....dugay na ko wala ko uli butuan mga 5 years na.... but ill ask my father kun naa cya kaila...unsa imo gusto ready to plant materials or ikaw pa magpaturok? pila imo budget? to replant 5 hectares you would probably need 500k....pero thats ok kay you have old standing trees man kaha....you can sell it for coco lumber man....that should offset the cost of replanting....

first heres what you need to do....

you ask yourself how much money do i have...

why because.... you need to answer this, kay you can play big money or small money...

    first big money...
    1. you can go for hybrids, AFAIK wlay namaligya dinhi og planting materials na ready for planting na that is good for 10 hectares.... if you have lots of money you can import from mindanao...mahal cya upto 150php including shipping pero this is really good planting mat. you can already harvest in 2-3 years time...
    2. you can go for intensive planting, usually old practices would make you plant coconuts at 10mx10m...so in one hectare you plant 100...10 hectares 1000....but for intensive which allows you to plant 7.5 x 7.5 quinqonx system you can have upto 250 trees per hectare, double the planting mat, double the maintenance,( weeding, fertilization etc) but double the income...
    3. design...less than 1% sa coconuts sa pilipinas are planted to have irrigation system...you really dont have to but it would really be helpful if you want to go for cocosugar....google lang cocosugar for me ok?
    4. fertilization. if you want to make your coconut nga paspas tobo, then you need to fertilize 90% of coconut farmers in the pinas dont fertilize, so meager ra ang abot...case in point, naa me farm sa butuan, started nga mamunga 2 years, pero amo lang ginapatagak ang bunga...we opted to have cocosugar instead, and then just have the fruit on its 4th year. when we have the fruit na it bears 3x more than the average coconuts. plus dili jud hasol magharvest, literally within the palm of my hands lng...tagaliog ra ang bunga...

    small money
go for traditional, dont fertilize, dont buy hybrids dont put irrigation, just plant and every year palampas lang then in 8-10 years naa nakay lubi...hhehehe good luck

how much time do i have...
if you want to do this full time, you may want to do cash crops...
    sugestion lang ha...

10 hectares no? so lets say at 250 per hectare you need 2500 planting mat plus 10% allowance for patay....total 2750...2750 X 150=412500

    bugat no?

    heres what you can do...

buy hybrid nuts...at 15php each 2500 plus 20% allowance for patay and dili motorok(mas dako allowance kay naay uban dili motorok) =3000 x 15=45000...hehehe murag 10% lang no, but wait you have to let this grow for a year or two sa nursery....so add another 50k for that purpose....

so while waiting, ipalandscape sa na imong yuta...then i suggest that you plant banana...
unsa nga clase nga saging...i suggest latundan, its very hardy and its marketable man pud, pero ayaw lang pud intawon nang bisaya nga tundan, pagpalit pud ug seedlings nga tundan, naa daghan sa mindanao ana.... kay kun magtanom man galing ka kanang isure pud nga makaginansya ka...ang makita nimo sa mercado nga tundan kay gagmay diba? what if imong tundan parehas kadako sa lakatan? you will get about 70% sa market price ng tundan, so kun tag 20 ang kilo sa lakatan mga 14 and tundan kun gwapa...ang kanindut sa tundan is about 50% lang sa cost of production visavis lakatan....

you can try also solo papaya...nindot baya ni cya...pero i suggest mga max of 2 hectares lang imo i allocate ani....magoversupply unya ka...pero pwede man japun nimo iship to other places, like bohol or manila...

    trivia lang ha...para dili boring

kabalo ba mo nga ang mga gulay (carrots, cabage, kamatis) sa bohol kay gikan pa sa cebu? which is gikan pa sa cagayan de oro, which is gikan pa sa bukidnon and surrounding provinces...wla lang kay my tita kaon gkan man cya states then we stayed sa bohol, ana cya lami jud ning gulay fresh kaayo basta gikan probinsya....little did she knew...and well for the rest of you now you know...

also you can look into having a intercropping system,...unsa man na? sagulan nimo ug lain protas imo lubi...suggested are longkong, a thailander nga lanzones, ang lanzones shelf life is max 3 days dayon lagum na, longkong is good since it can last upto 10days....so pwede nimo i export to manila, or even china if you want...durian, pero daghan naman nananom ani...gwapol....maayo ni cya, gamay ra nananom ani, mga 1-3 hectares lang if mo decide ka....lemonsito...

    IPM

    integrated pest management

taas ni, basta ang point ani is make sure limpyo imo plantation...pagbuhi ug sheep or baka...ayaw kanding kay kanon imo lubi or fruit tree...ok na lang kun dako na ang lubi...pero kun mag sagol ka ug fruits ayaw jud....labi nag boer-nubian....

you can have bees or naay thread dinhi istorya, swiftlet or sayaw.

    allied industry
then you can have your planta dayon for cocosugar, cocodiesel or virgin oil and nata de coco...
powered by coconut shell fired generator (apply dayon ka ug grant for carbon credits, mas dako pa imo kitaon kay sa mamaligya ka ug lubi)
    coco coir or coco dust...

others may have other ideas pero, thats what i have studied...anyways... kana lang sa

ps...wla ko kabantay nag sobra isa ka oras naman diay ko nagcompose ani...hehehe nalingaw lang ko... anyways back to forex mode sa ko hap...

Naka-work ko sa PCA Mandaue sa una. (Phil Coconut Authority)
    ...didto, motabang jud sila nimo.

ang PCA can supply you with the seednuts
if wala sila stocks, maka-refer sila sa imo kung asa jud mokuha ang mga hybrid seednuts
makahatag pod sila og free information on how to do coconut farming/plantation

if naa lang ko daku-daku nga yuta, mananum jud ko'g daghan nga coconuts.
